Power and Use Of Stun Guns
Choosing your voltage is very important in a stun gun. The more powerful, the more effective do you think? It’s true.
Buying the most powerful stungun on the market today has its advantages. Not everyone has a budget to buy the best out there. Or size and feel has a lot to do with which one is picked. Most people never wonder why they should pick the most powerful one out there.
Due to recent advances in the technology of a stun gun, the power or voltage has increased 10-20 fold. While keeping the amps low the voltage has increased significantly. You can now find stun gun on the market today between 100000 and 2.6 million volts.
But, what kind of a difference can it really make? The results can be life saving literally. Lets take a 300000 volt stun gun for example. Now keep in mind I am not suggesting don’t buy one this powerful, I am just exploring the differences. If and when attacked you can use this stun gun anywhere on the attackers body, even the pinky toe. It is the amount volts that dictates the amount of time needed to be applied in order to get away.
If you are ever assaulted then you will need to use your stun gun on this assailant for 4-5 seconds. Yes ! it is true if you need to make sure that you can get away! This can mean forever for some people and unfortunately can mean life or death.
Lets take a look at the 1,000,000 volt stun guns. Lets call it 1M for short. The 1M or similar voltage in this range will be literally twice as effective. You will only need about 2 seconds on your attacker and now you can be confident that your stun gun can penetrate clothing. The 1M is probably the equivalent of being hit with a baseball bat.
Now for the big boy stun guns. 2 plus millions volts is going to stop you. Rest assured that there is no need for another stun gun and even no need for a more powerful one. They can stop making them right here. Applying this to an assailant will put him or her down in a second or less. And that’s what you need to get away. It also reduces your chances of getting injured or worse by up to 75%-85%.
Make sure you pick the stun gun that is right for you. Make sure it is comfortable and will be able to be stored or concealed in a location that is perfect for you.
